Melon cultivation is based on exclusive contracts with local French producers on referenced plots. Bionov melon fields are located in the south of France, mainly in Provence near Cavaillon, close to the Bionov production facility, allowing a low carbon footprint.
Bionov melon crops are cultivated according to Good Agricultural Practice and Harvest. Melons are harvested manually at optimal maturity and are directly shipped by truck to the production facility, avoiding any risk of alteration. Once selected, melons are processed without any solvents, additives, or other chemical substances until the obtention of a dried melon juice concentrate.
